Bunny Little always has been interested in the family business. When she was very young, she wanted to lay eggs. Mother Bunny explained her, that this is the hens job, sometimes dugs are doing it or geese or ostrichs if there is need of big eggs. Now, being a little older, Bunny Little wants to become an artist. Father Bunny agreed to teach her. He showed her how to prime the egg and next will be the fine work. The young artist is taking up the palette, brush and the paint and is starting to set the first fine lines. Then she blends the paint and very gentle, with fine strokes of the brush she colours the egg. Father Bunny is very proud of his daughter because the first trial has been successful already. Bunny Little inherited his talent! Like this egg here, all of Wilhelm Schweizers pewter miniatures are painted carefully by hand. This standing pewter figure is the 2010 Easter Bunny. It is painted from both sides and as the figures are individual done, the colour may very.
