Don´t you think, that the hollowed out pumpkin with a terrifying face is one of the most classical Halloween objects you can find?
Here in Germany we also decorate the pumpkins around the house. But we do not know the story from Jack dealing with the devil.
Here we do it more as a decoration for the harvest festival beginning of October, but we keep the pumpkins and light them until November.
This pumpkin is made out of pewter and is a hand painted hanging ornament from Wilhelm Schweizer.
