Over 100 Years ago RICHARD MAHR started tp produce figurines made out of papermaché-substance which he named MAROLIN. He developed a specific recipe that still today is the secret of the company. Clay, kaolin (china day), glue and fiber will be mixed together. The substance will be filled or pressed into gypsum-molds. After the papermaché is dried in the mold the papermaché figurine can be taken out. Skilful hands are completing the pieces and telented artists are giving the figurines expression and liveliness by painting them carefully.
